journaway literally sends its employees "into the desert": working together in Marrakech and overnight stays in a desert camp were on the program.

The entire journaway team went to Morocco in March. Out of more than 85 employees, 70 colleagues took part. Starting above the rooftops of Marrakech, they traveled across the Atlas Mountains to the desert camp in the Agafay Desert.

"The trip was full of wow moments," says Benjamin Schmidt, COO of journaway, "the roof terrace of our boutique hotel in Marrakech was transformed into a coworking space. We mastered adventures such as desert trekking together and sat around a campfire in the evening - team building doesn't get any better than that!" The employees experienced the spirit of journaway road trips for themselves: journaway trips are characterized by unforgettable adventures and contrasting itineraries with extraordinary accommodations. The nights were therefore spent in a glamping tent under the starry sky of the Agafay desert and in a recently opened hotel with a rooftop pool in the trendy district of Marrakech.

With "Workation" in Morocco, journaway went one step further: the office or home office was replaced by the roof terrace with a view over Marrakech and instead of coffee, Moroccan mint tea was served.
